The 55 weighed 3600 with added weight and ran 117mph and 12.70's Roy P. ![]() That was a 283, didn't have 327 or 350 yet, with a Isky RR 8000 roller and rev kit. By the way Ignitionman that rev kit is pretty old. Then the steel bolt was replaced with a brass bolt and the rearend was set up and brass bolt set along with a lock nut to ensure that the setting was kept. It seemed to me that the hole was drilled with carrier disassemabled and then the ring gear was placed in the case and a steel bolt with nut was placed in the hole to line it up so it was perpendicular to the ring gear and welded in. I don't have pictures of the rearend modifaction, just of the car. I've got pictures but so far have not been able to get any to post.
